In his sixth year in the league and third in Maccabi "Playtika" Tel Aviv, Roman Sorkin was in a league of his own. Israel's National Team center led the Yellows to another great season and took the MVP of the Season title. It was his second year in a row as an All-Winner League Selection.
Sorkin broke his personal records in points (35), rebounds (15) and PIR (40) and tied his previous records with 6 three-pointers and 4 blocked shots. He led all domestic players with 16.2 points per game - 8th in the entire league. He also had 19.0 PIR per game - 4th in the league and first among Israelis. He was 2nd in points per minute (0.69) and plus-minus (202+) and 5th in dunks (1.5), offensive rebounds (2.7), blocks (1.0) and 2-point percentage (67.0%).
